ULTIMATE DIAMOND's release was originally set for May 20th, however the album was delayed by 2 weeks. The cause was the arrest of [[Sonoda Ryouji]] for involvment in drugs. None of the songs he wrote lyrics for during the ULTIMATE DIAMOND era appear on the album, such as [[TRICKSTER|DISCOTHEQUE]]. This had little or unknown negative imapct on the sales or ranking, as both improved from her previous album.
